Tanya Johnston's paintings and boxes are featured in solo show "Things Remembered, Things Forgotten" October 16 - November 15, 2008.

The boxes are constructions using layers of transparencies modified from old family photographs and other sources and objects to explore the experience of memory.

The paintings are landscapes and skyscapes recalling the Oklahoma where she visited family, many of whom also are captured in the boxes.
